The Ramona Library officially opened as a San Diego County Library branch on May 26, 1913. The new Library will open on February 15, 2011. It will offer a host of services that empower and educate the community including free access to 33.7 million books, DVD movies, and music CDs

New Ramona Library Opens to Public Tuesday (Ramona Patch 2011)

Friends dedicate library sculpture to Elyse Kuhn (Ramona Sentinel 2015)

The Friends of Ramona Library’s Dec. 16 ceremony to dedicate its new Wings of Inspiration sculpture to Marion Elyse Kuhn became a bittersweet event as several paid tribute to the longtime library advocate.

Library Opens Children’s Patio (2017)

Dedicated to Joan Gansert, a longtime library advocate, the patio is outside the children's section and will be used for various programs.
